1. About Us

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Haste platform, operated by Haste Global Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number 16569263). Our registered address is available via Companies House. Haste operates as an online marketplace and acts as a commercial agent on behalf of participating retailers, connecting consumers with independent and retail partners for on-demand delivery of non-food goods within London. Haste is not a retailer. When you place an order through the Platform, Haste acts as agent on behalf of the relevant retailer to conclude your order and manage your experience throughout the order process.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Haste platform (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Marketplace and Agency Status

Haste acts as a commercial agent on behalf of each retailer listed on the Platform. We do not own, warehouse, or sell any products listed on the Platform. All purchases are made from the relevant retailer, with Haste concluding the transaction as their agent. When you place an order, Haste takes payment on behalf of the relevant retailer. Your contract for the supply of goods is with the retailer, not with Haste Global Ltd. Haste accepts no liability for the acts or omissions of any retailer on the Platform. Each retailer is solely responsible for the accuracy of their product listings, pricing, stock availability, and compliance with applicable consumer laws.

4. Retailer Terms and Conditions

Each retailer on the Platform operates under their own terms and conditions, returns policies, and sales terms. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the relevant retailer's terms before placing an order. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a retailer's own terms, the retailer's terms shall govern the transaction between you and that retailer.

5. Returns Policy

Haste does not operate its own returns process. All returns are governed solely by the relevant retailer's returns policy. To make a return, you must contact the relevant retailer directly and return the item physically to their store. Haste does not facilitate reverse logistics or collection of returned items. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and accept that returns are your responsibility and must be made directly to the retailer in accordance with their stated policy.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Any damage to items received, or discrepancies with your order, must be reported to both the relevant retailer and to Haste within 15 minutes of delivery. Failure to report within this window may affect your ability to make a claim. To report a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us immediately via the Platform and notify the retailer directly. Photographic evidence of any damage must be provided where reasonably possible. Haste will use reasonable endeavours to assist in resolving disputes regarding damaged items but accepts no financial liability for damage caused during transit.

7. Delivery

Delivery services are provided by third-party logistics partners, including but not limited to Stuart Delivery (a DPD Group company). Haste does not employ riders or operate its own delivery fleet. Haste accepts no liability for delays, losses, or failures in delivery caused by third-party logistics providers. All delivery-related complaints are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant delivery partner. Whilst Haste accepts no legal responsibility for delivery performance, we will use reasonable endeavours to assist you in resolving any delivery-related issues with our logistics partners. Estimated delivery times are indicative only. Haste does not guarantee delivery within any specific timeframe, including the advertised 30-minute window, which may be affected by distance, traffic, weather, or other factors outside our control. You are responsible for providing an accurate and accessible delivery address. Haste accepts no liability for failed or misdirected deliveries resulting from incorrect address information provided by you.

8. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

You must be aged 18 or over to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Certain products available on the Platform may be subject to additional age restrictions in accordance with applicable law. Where age-restricted products are purchased, you confirm that you meet the relevant age requirement and may be required to provide proof of age upon delivery.

9. Prohibited Items and Product Liability

Haste does not permit the listing or sale of any prohibited, illegal, or restricted goods on the Platform. Retailers are responsible for ensuring their listings comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Haste accepts no liability for the quality, safety, legality, or fitness for purpose of any product sold by a retailer on the Platform. All product liability rests solely with the relevant retailer. If you become aware of any listing on the Platform that you believe to be unlawful or inappropriate, please report it to us immediately.

10. Fraudulent Activity and Misuse

Haste operates a zero-tolerance policy towards fraudulent activity, including but not limited to: raising false or dishonest chargebacks or payment disputes; claiming non-delivery or damage where no such issue exists; providing false identity or payment information; any attempt to manipulate, abuse, or exploit the Platform or its promotions. Haste reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently ban any user found to be engaging in fraudulent activity, and to report such activity to the relevant authorities and payment processors. Haste reserves the right to pursue legal action and seek recovery of any losses, costs, or damages arising from fraudulent activity, including reasonable legal fees.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Where you raise a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider, Haste reserves the right to suspend your account pending investigation. If a chargeback is found to be unwarranted or fraudulent, your account may be permanently terminated and the matter referred to the relevant authorities. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any payment or order issues before initiating a chargeback. We will endeavour to resolve legitimate disputes promptly and fairly.

12. Promotions, Discount Codes and Offers

Any promotional codes, discounts, or offers made available through the Platform are subject to their own specific terms and conditions, which will be communicated at the time of the promotion. Promotional codes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may not be combined with other offers unless expressly stated. Haste reserves the right to withdraw or amend any promotion at any time without notice. Any abuse or manipulation of promotional offers will be treated as fraudulent activity under Clause 10 of these Terms.

13. Data Protection and Privacy

Haste Global Ltd is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We will never sell your personal data to third parties. Personal data shared with delivery partners is limited to that which is strictly necessary to fulfil your order.

14. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Haste Platform, including but not limited to the brand name, logo, design, software, and content, are owned by or licensed to Haste Global Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without the prior written consent of Haste Global Ltd. Retailer brand names, trademarks, and product images displayed on the Platform remain the intellectual property of their respective owners and are used with permission.

15. Force Majeure

Haste shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, pandemic, civil unrest, industrial action, or failure of third-party infrastructure.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Haste Global Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental losses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. Haste's total aggregate liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the value of the order in dispute. Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

17. Account Suspension and Termination

Haste reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, without notice, where we reasonably believe you have: breached any provision of these Terms; engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct; provided false or misleading information; acted in a manner detrimental to Haste, its retailers, or other users. Termination of your account does not affect any rights or obligations that arose prior to termination.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
